Geez....I'm sorry for offending you folks...just thought that American Amiga
users would like to know that their comrades are OK. So kick me off the
list for making one off-topic post....funny that there are hundreds of
other off-topic posts that never get reprimanded, at least publicly...I
didn't ask for a long-winded discussion about it.
Now, HERE'S what I want a long-winded discussion about because I do need
help with this, and the more info I get, the better I'll be able to help
myself:
Chris, the tech support guy at Software Hut, recently gave me a Tekmagic
4060 to replace not one, not two, but THREE DCE boards that have fried in
my Amiga since January. He recommended I put a fan over the '060. However,
the only fans I've found that will fit over it require to be attached via
non-existent Ziff sockets or something...someone posted a link on the
newgroups yesterday to a fan vendor's web site, and there was one on there
that gets attached via adhesive, but since my 4060 is mounted in a tower, I
have a feeling gravity would eventually prevail...
